My blog life has turned a full circle. I'm tagged again and this time the honors are with Preethika. I already shared facts about me in the past. But makkals seem to hank after more!
So here they are.. back on popular demand.
My Eight
One:
I'm biting my nails to write something for fact # 1.
Two:
I just killed a mosquito which dared to sit on my elbow.
Three:
I want to discover a way to measure the speed of thought.
Four:
After that, I want thoughts to be measured in 'mathis'.
Five:
I think there's a land where all dreams and souls come from.
Six:
I think that land is a parallel universe.
Seven:
I think I'm running out of facts to fill in here.
Eight:
I'm so glad I've reached point # 8!

Mathi is quite a relevant name to be considered as the unit for speed-of-thought. What if your name had been Munimma or something like that >:)?

Woooow measuring thought...I'd never thought about that....so maybe you should think about whether you can think of "X" faster than actually seeing "X" and do you mean the measure of thought as in thought thoughts or in terms of time....so do you mean to say that it should be measured in mathis seconds??? or mathis...or maybe both...the quantity of thought in terms of mathis and speed of thought in terms of mathis seconds....but can you do that??? This is like measuring sweetness of the sugar in terms of kilos and weight of the sugar in terms of kilograms...so you dont have a choice you can keep your name either for speed of the thoughts or for the thoughts themselves...decide soon...I am about to embark on finding a technique to do that.... ;-).

hey prits.. you are complicatin' a simple issue! Here's my perspective. It'll help in your research. :-)
'mathi' will be the unit of thought - the same way 'meter' is the unit of distance.
if you can reach b'lore from madras in 5 hours travelling at about 150 kmph.. you can reach it in 5 seconds mind travelling at ___ mathis/hour.
Am I making some sense? Or am I rivalling you in the blabber? ;-)

Hey mathi.. Sorry fr not respondin to this tag-call yet.. I started workin on my response quite some time back.. but its been sitting in my drafts for a week now.. a bit anxious abt stuff in life (MBA results :D).. so had to put up another post today, out of my angst..
